Stan Hall is a 30-year veteran of law
enforcement. During that time, he has worked in all facets of law enforcement,
starting as a patrolman in 1978. He has a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice, a
POST Management Certificate, and is a graduate of the 188th Session of the
F.B.I. National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
Stan is currently assigned as the
Director of the Victim Witness Program in the Gwinnett County District
Attorney's Office and also serves in the capacity of Assistant Chief
Investigator. Prior to this assignment, he was the District Attorney's
investigative liason to the Multi-Agency Drug Task Force. He also served for 5
years as the lead investigator for the D.A's Child Protection Team.
He was awarded the highest police
management certification available in the state of Georgia in 1987. He is an
adjunct faculty member of the Northeast Georgia Police Academy, the Gwinnett
Police Academy, and the F.B.I. National Academy.
Stan has been twice published in
works concerning child abuse investigations as well as an overview of satanic
crimes investigations. He is a frequent lecturer throughout the state involving
hate crimes, sex crimes, and victim's rights. He is also the host of the cable
access television show, "Behind the Badge" and a
writes a weekly "Behind the Badge" newspaper column
and an article for Gwinnett Magazine. Recently Stan was appointed by the
Governor as a Board Member to the State of Georgia's Criminal Justice
Coordinating Council.
He has been with the Gwinnett County
District Attorney's Office since 1987.
